1956 Ford F100 finished in original Ford colour Meadow Mist green.

Two year body off frame professional restoration was completed in 2015 in California and was based on an original “black” plate Californian truck.

This resto-modified F100 is based on an original chassis updated as follows; Mustang Two front suspension with reinforced tubular control arms, X rayed stub axles and power rack and pinion steering.

Four bar rear suspension with adjustable coil-over shock absorbers with a 2.90 ratio nine-inch diff ensures a highway-friendly package.

Equipped with four-wheel power-assisted disc brakes to provide excellent stopping power with little effort.

Road wheels are steel,16” x 6” fitted with American Classic whitewall tires, factory hubcaps, and deluxe trim rings.

Powered by a reliable rebuilt Chevrolet small block engine with Edelbrock alloy intake manifold, 4bl carburetor, and dual exhaust system.

The engine has been tastefully “dressed” with Ford Y Block badging as would have been seen on an original “Y” block engine equipped F100 of the time.

An aluminum radiator and thermostat-controlled cooling fans provide ample cooling. Backing the engine is GM Turbo Hydromatic 400 automatic transmission.

Considerable time was spent to ensure the bodywork was restored to pristine condition before the factory Meadow Mist green paintwork was applied. All factory-style fittings and badges were retained to ensure it kept its genuine look whilst being made safe and roadworthy. This included the original hood operation, chromed front and rear bumpers, tailgate latches,

Oak bed flooring with stainless bed strips and chromed grille. The original fuel tank was removed from within the cabin and a replacement fitted below the pick up bed with easy fill access via the bed.

The original working cowl vent provides controlled fresh air entry with ease.

The interior features a grey vinyl bench seat with three seat belts, matching factory-style grey door panels, and roof lining.

1940 Ford repro steering wheel and Lokar floor shifter with illuminated shift pattern.

This truck was imported to Australia in 2017 by the current owner under the Australian Government Import Approval Scheme and has all the correct import documentation.

Upon arrival the truck was submitted for full engineering certification under NSW road rules, several modifications were required and completed before certification.

This truck has current registration expiring in November 2022 for use on NSW roads with no restrictions and can be enjoyed each and every day.

The truck has traveled minimal miles since the rebuild showing 1,450 miles on the odometer. Number plates are not transferable and not included in the sale.
